A Bit of Kindness

Although the skies were cloudy and it we had light rain today, I still think it was a great day.  I saw two of my former Sunday School students today.  They were back in town for a graduation ceremony and were kind enough to stop in to give me a hug.  This gave me inspiration for a card that I have been wanting to make for the monthly challenge at Gerda Steiner Designs  http://gsd-stamps.com blog.
She comes up with some wonderful creatures to create with.  When you participate in the challenge, she sends you a free digistamp for the next month's challenge!  Here is the card I made for the May challenge:

Yes, I know it sounds like a lot of things, but as you make cards you will find that this really isn't so much.  There is always so much get a the start, but these supplies last a long time.  Make yourself a list of things you want to get and watch for sales, use coupons, and participate in blog hops.  Before you know it you will be creating all sorts of happiness.  

Now before I leave you today.....Can you guess where my mistake is?  Yes, I goofed when I made this card.  I was not about to start over so I hid the mistake the best I could.  After all, I'm not perfect....I just live with him.  ;) 

The Beginning of a New Adventure

     Only Wrong Twice A Year may seem like an odd blog name, but if you knew me it would make you smile.  For years my husband and I would joke with our family that mom is always right.  It would often be modified to say that I was only wrong twice a year.  After all, no one is perfect.  So when I wanted to start this blog, my daughter and I wanted to come up with a name that expressed the idea that this blog is not about being perfect or convincing anyone that I am, but I can still have something worth sharing.  

    I hope to share some card-making fun with you as well as a few glimpses of real life fun as well.
